IPU CET 2017 Seat AllotmentIPU CET 2017 Seat Allotment – The seat allotment of IPU CET is being conducted online by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU). The choice filling and modification/deletion of choices was made available from July 16 to 18, 2017. the result of IPU CET seat allotment round 3 will be made available on July 21. IPU CET 2017 seat allotment result for round 2, was declared on July 15, 2017. The seat allotment result of IPU CET 2017 round 1 was announced on July 6. Candidates can check their IPU CET seat allotment result online through candidate login page. Along with the IPU CET Seat allotment 2017 candidates check round wise IPU CET 2017 cutoff released by the authority. The candidates have to report to the help centres for any upgradation/withdrawal of seats. The candidates have to pay the part academic fees after confirmation of seats. The candidates must bring IPU CET 2017 provisional seat allotment slip between July 22 to 26, 2017.

IPU CET 2017 Counselling Fees

To participate in the seat allotment of IPU CET 2017, the qualifying candidates need to first pay the counselling participation fee of Rs. 1,000 (plus bank charges as applicable).

IPU CET 2017 Seat Allotment Procedure

Steps of IPU CET Seat Allotment process is given below:

Registration

  • The next step of the counselling & seat allotment is Registration. To participate in IPU CET 2017 Counselling candidates should have registered in online mode.
  • All qualified candidates need to register themselves to participate in the IPU CET 2017 seat allotment.

Choice Filling of IPU CET 2017 Seat Allotment

During this step candidates must fill the choices of preferred colleges and B.Tech courses in which they want to get admission. Candidates must fill their preferred choices and colleges from the list of choices available on the drop down list

IPU CET 2017 Seat Allotment Result:

  • Candidates are allotted seats as per the merit and respective category and region after choice filling

Who are not eligible for IPU CET 2017 Seat Allotment ?

IPU CET Seat Allotment 2017 – (Part Academic Fee Payment):

  • Candidates can pay the part payment through Net Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card or E-challan
  • After the payment don’t forget to print the Admission Fee Receipt
  • If a candidate has paid through bank challan, then he/she can take the printout only after two days of payment.

The above mentioned procedure will be followed in the 3 rounds of counselling and seat allotment which will be held for IPU CET 2017.

Freezing of IPU CET Seat Allotment

The candidate can freeze the IPU CET seat allotment 2017 if they do not want to participate in the further rounds of IPU CET seat allotment 2017. Freezing option is available for seat allotment which means that the candidate is satisfied with the seat allotted to him/her and doesn’t want to participate in the subsequent rounds.

Withdrawal of IPU CET 2017 Seat Allotment

Candidates can’t withdraw the allotted seat and no fee refund will be entertained after the last round of online seat allotment.

In the last round of IPU CET 2017 seat allotment, the category-wise and region-wise seats will be converted to unreserved category after doing seat allotment of the reserved category.

Candidates (who have been allocated seats and have paid the part academic fee of Rs. 40000, have not frozen their allotment, neither have withdrawn the seat as per procedure, will be considered eligible for the sliding round of online seat allotment.

Sliding or Sliding round after Last round of Online Allotment of Seats

Candidates who have been allotted seats before the sliding round and also who have paid Rs. 40,000 as part academic fee, and have not withdrawn admission or did not freeze the allotted seat by following due procedure of the GGSIPU, will be eligible for this round.

The process for sliding round will be same, based on the preferences made by the candidate and the merit list.

Reporting to the college/institute where the seat is allotted to the candidates

After sliding round, if the candidate allotted a seat/retained the seat from earlier allotment/upgraded to higher choices/preferences, and if he/she has made part academic fee of Rs 40,000, such candidates can generate Provisional Admission Slip along with the Enrollment Number.

IPU CET 2017 Spot Round Seat Allotment

  • Spot Round be conducted after the admission process is completed, if there are vacant seats after the sliding round or due to non-reporting of candidates.
  • The spot round will be held for only those candidates. It will be held from July 24 to July 31.
  • Spot Round of IPU CET seat allotment 2017 will be conducted offline. Candidates have to pay Rs. 2,000 for spot seat allotment separately.
  • Admitted students, if they wish to withdraw/cancel their admission, they need to apply as per the refund policy. Details of the fee refund was notified by the university.
  • Candidates not admitted, withdrawn seat in any round are eligible for spot round. No withdrawal or refund is allowed in spot round.

IPU CET 2017 Seat Allotment – Filling of seats after 31 July 2017

If any seats are left vacant out of seats reported as vacant after the reporting of admitted allocated seats candidates to concerned candidates after reporting to the allocated institute than seats will be filled after admission that will be notified on August 04.
