Eligibility for admission into IISc BS 2017 courses
Before attending the counselling process candidates must make sure that they have met the Eligibility Criteria of IISc Bs 2017 for admission into various Bachelor of Science (BS) courses.
Applicants who have completed their 2nd PUC / Class12th in 2016 and those who are expecting to complete their 2nd PUC / 12th Standard in 2017 are eligible to apply.
The candidates must have studied Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics as main subjects during their Class 12th Standard/2nd PUC. Candidates who have studied Biology, Statistics, Electronics, Computer Science, etc., in addition to Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are also eligible to apply.
The candidates must have secured a first class or 60% or equivalent grade. However, candidates belonging to SC/ST candidates will be relaxed to pass the qualifying examination in the II PUC / 12th Standard examination.
