Q1. Which entrance exam is used for entry into IIEST?

Ans. Admissions to IIEST will be made from the merit listed candidates (Engg) of the JEM 2011 conducted by West Bengal Joint entrance Examinations Board (WEBJEE 2012).

Q3. When is the exam to be held?

Ans. The exam is to be held in the second week of April 2012.

Q4. What is the eligibility criteria?

Ans. The candidate should have passed higher secondary (10+2) or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks for general candidates (a minimum of 40% for SC/ST candidates) in the subjects, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics taken together and a minimum of 30% marks in English (for all category of candidates).
