Q1. Is it an All-India Exam or a State level exam?

Ans. It is a state level exam.

Q2. On what basis is the admission carried out?

Ans. The admission to all the courses is based on GUJCET 2012 as well as class 12th exams.

Q3. What is the medium in which the exam is administered?

Ans. GUJCET 2012 is conducted in three languages: English, Hindi & Gujarati.

Q4. What is the reservation criteria for state candidates?

Ans. 75% seats are reserved for Gujarat candidates and ( Based on GUJCET 2012 score ) and 25% are management seats

Q5. What is the eligibility criteria?

Ans. The eligibility criteria is 10+2 pass(science)

Q6. What is the date of entrance exam?

Ans. The date of entrance exam in the first week of April 2012

Q7. What is the cost of application form?

Ans. The cost of application form is Rs 250.

Q8. In whose favour is the DD o be made?

Ans. The DD is to be made from Nationalized Bank payable at Ahmedabad in favor of "Secretary, Gujarat Common Entrance Test Cell, Gandhinagar

Q9. What is the exam pattern?

Ans. The entrance test will consist of 4 papers:

  • Physics:40 questions-1 hour
  • Chemistry:40 questions-1 hour
  • Mathematics:40 questions-1 hour
  • Biology:40 questions-1 hour
