Open Up-School to College

The school is all about the board exams. The college is all about students. The school trains you for reaching a destination .The college teaches you to love the journey.Before I go on, few words of caution. To enjoy the ride that is college, the student should do his wee bit because the college is entirely a different ball game. A school usually comprises students of the same economic and social brackets or geographic convergence.

College, I tell you is a buffet spread .You will find Aloo Paratha next to Idli Sambbar. Or Pork momos and Dhoklas at the same table and to love the spread, the students should be as open as possible. Open to ideas, open to culture, open to discussions, open to debates. The best learning in college is not from your books or professors, but your peers.

Opening up is not confined to the people you meet. But also in the way you equip. An engineer is a lot better off with a dose of Economics and a literature. you are never a student unless you are aware and open to what is going on around you and ready to learn from it.
