3 Idiots - Story of Three IITJEE Aspirants

Of course, this is not any kind of a movie review.

I am going to tell you a story of 3 Idiots (IIT aspirants) who were NOT able to crack the IIT JEE just because of some silly reasons I hope you don’t repeat the same.

Idiot No 1

Hmm…what to say about this guy. He lost the battle for IITJEE just because of overloading himself with lots of books.

His study room was nothing less than a complete Library containing books for IITJEE. He almost had all the books for IITJEE preparation which were available in the market. Some of the books were recommended for JEE while others were simply useless.

Daily he used to ask himself the same question….

“From which books to start…….HC Verma or Resnick Halliday…. I think Resnick Halliday is better.

This caused a lot of time wastage as most of the time was spent in the selection and the choice of books. In this way his precious 1 year got wasted and 1 month before JEE he was still confused from which book to study.

Guys believe me this is a major mistake committed by many IITJEE aspirants. They overload themselves with lots of books and finally end up doing nothing.

Idiots Advice: Never overload yourself with tons of books. Two to Three books are sufficient to crack JEE and try to repeat the same problems if possible.

Idiot No 2

You may call this guy as a Brand Ambassador of PROCRASTINATION. He wasn’t able to crack IITJEE just because he used to procrastinate a lot.

Every day he made false promises to himself about his preparations. Once day he said” I will finish of this mechanics today” and as usual the work got postponed for tomorrow. Finally 1 month before JEE he realized that he had completed only 50% of the portion that too NOT SINCERELY  and as expected he did not even fetch an EML rank in IITJEE even after studying for 2 years continuously. The main reason- Procrastination

Idiots Advice: Never procrastinate. If you are still postponing your work for tomorrow then be ready to face the music.

Idiot No 3

He always used to overstress himself for everything he used to do. While preparing for IITJEE he was mostly tensed. This affected his preparation and results badly and so he was not able to clear JEE.

Idiots Advice: Don’t worry too much. This is a major problem I've seen. People worry so much about classes / test series/ correspondence / teachers / batches / quality / notes / books / college / friend / girlfriend / boyfriend / food / hostel / accommodation... u get the point... If I were to say it bluntly - Just shut up , open the book, and start doing the damn problems!!

So I hope you learnt something from these 3 Idiots and will try NOT to repeat what they did
