ISAT 2014 Entrance Exam will be conducted for admission in the B. Tech. Courses offered by the IIST (Indian Institute of Space Science & Technology) for the year 2014.
The seat matrix for the B.Tech. Programs under ISAT 2014 is as follows:
- Aerospace Engineering : 60
- Avionics : 60
- Physical Sciences : 36
Reservation of seats in ISAT 2014 Entrance Exam will be governed by the Government of India Rules for Central Educational Institutions (CEI).
Applicants have to REGISTER ONLINE on The official website of the exam, where They have to fill the ISAT Online Application Form. This procedure needs a valid email id of the applicant which has to be kept alive and secured till the admission process is complete.
The online registration for ISAT 2014 will be open from the first week of November 2013 to the last week of December 2013.
The OBC and GEN category applicants have to submit a NON-REFUNDABLE Examination Fee for ISAT 2014 of Rs. 600/- and 300 INR for ST, SC, and PD.
Prior applying for ISAT 2014, the applicant should ensure that he/she fulfills all the conditions of the eligibility criteria.
Applicant has to choose at least three different cities as the examination centers for ISAT 2014 in the order of preference from the list given in the brochure.
The test center allocation for ISAT 2014 Entrance Exam will be done on the preference order of the applicant but, IIST reserves all rights to change or cancel any of them due to lack of participation from that region.
No request for alteration of any information filled in the Online Application From of ISAT 2014 will be entertained at any stage for any applicant.
After the successful Registration, a unique ISAT 2014 REGISTRATION NUMBER will be allotted to every applicant. It must be preserved till the admission process is complete and is to be used in all the future references.
Once the registration is finished, the applicant has to download the CHALLAN FORM IN TRIPLICATE from the website of ISAT 2014 for remitting the fee in any one branch of SBI, PNB or UBI.
ISAT 2014 fee shall not be remitted in any other form.
NRI applicants, however, can remit their fee from any abroad bank, through a D.D. drawn in favor of:
The DD should be payable at THIRUVANANTHAPURAM. Any Demand Draft of ISAT 2014 fee from any INDIAN BANK will NOT be ACCEPTED.
The last date of fee remittance shall be around the first week of January 2014.
Out of the 3 Copies of CHALLAN, INSTITUTE COPY should be sent via SPEED POST till the third week of January 2014 with the REGISTRATION NUMBER of the applicant mentioned clearly atop the envelope to:

No other documents should be sent with the Institute copy of CHALLAN.
No acknowledgment receipt for ISAT 2014 will be sent to any applicant individually. However, the applicants can check the status of their application on the IIST website by the third week of February 2014.
There shall be a portal for checking the application status of ISAT 2014, where the applicant has to enter his/her Registration Number as the login id and password as the one specified during registering for ISAT 2014.
The HALL TICKETS will be available on the websites by the first week of March 2014, which have to be downloaded and print out by the applicants. ISAT 2014 Hall ticket will bear the details of examination center, applicant’s credentials and a space to affix recent photograph and signature of the applicant.
The applicants have to attest this hall ticket of ISAT 2014 by the Head of the Institution he/she studied at or is studying.
The facility of downloading the ADMIT CARD (HALL TICKET) will end during the second week of April 2014.
Applicants have to bring their Hall Tickets on the day of ISAT 2014 Entrance Exam as without them, nobody would be allowed to sit in the exam.
