CUSAT 2014 Entrance Exam is conducted every year by Cochin University of Science & Technology for the candidates who are interested for the admissions in engineering at undergraduate level in CUSAT. The applicants can register for CUSAT 2014 Entrance Exam by filling the application form through online or offline method. Before filling the application form the candidates must make sure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria decided by the CUSAT 2014. This year the entrance exam was conducted on 27 April 2014.
CUSAT 2014 Exam Pattern:
There will be total of 250 questions asked in the CUSAT 2014 Entrance Exam from mathematics, physics and chemistry. The division of the questions will be like 125 questions from maths, 75 from physics and 25 from chemistry. The question paper will be Objective Type in which the candidates have to mark the correct answers among the options given. The duration of the exam will be 3 hours and the marks will be calculated using the formula 3R-1W, where R is the right answer and W is wrong answer.
CUSAT 2014 Eligibility Criteria:
Before filling the CUSAT 2014 Application Form the candidates must make sure that they are eligible according to the CUSAT 2014. First of all the candidates must have qualified class XII from Kerala or any other state with minimum percentage as mentioned on the website.
Candidates must have also scored minimum of 50% marks in English in class X and XII to apply for B.Tech. Diploma holder candidates cannot apply for B.Tech (Marine Engg.).
CUSAT 2014 Selection Process:
Selection will be on the basis of marks obtained in CUSAT 2014 Result. The candidates will be selected for the merit list on the basis of their rank.
Candidates can fill the CUSAT 2014 Application Form online on the official website of Cochin University and must fill the fees for completing the procedure of application form. A scanned photograph of the candidate and signature must be uploaded with all the other information asked in the form. Application fees for general category candidates is 1000 and for SC/ST candidates is 500/-.
The CUSAT 2014 Admit Card will be available on the official website in between the time span as decided by the University. Candidate will not receive CUSAT 2014 Admit Card via post under any circumstances. Candidates can download the admit card by entering application number and some other basic details.
After the commencement of the exam, CUSAT 2014 Result will be posted on their website. Candidates can see the marks obtained by them in the exam based on their performance. This rank will be used for the seat allotment procedure.
CUSAT 2014 Counselling will allow the candidates to mark the options of colleges and courses ccording to their preference for seat allotment. For other details related to the exam pattern, result, cutoff or counselling, the candidates can visit the official website of CUSAT 2014.
