We have Published JEE MAIN 2013 Cut off Based on Students and expert analysis
Candidates whose exam score is above or equal to this score will be included in the final merit list and qualify the exam and rest will be disqualified. As per the announcements done earlier, the JEE Main 2013 Cut off will also decide the candidates who will be allowed to take JEE Advanced exam.
Only top 1.5 lakh candidates of JEE Main will be allowed to sit for JEE Advanced given that they are in the top 20 percentile window of their School Boards too. These candidates will be chosen from every category and thus every category will have a separate JEE Main 2013 Cutoff.
Candidates can use the answer key released after exam conduction and compare the approximate exam score with last year’s cut off too to have an estimation of their choices.
The Cutoff for JEE Main 2013 will be the limiting factor to decide the number of candidates who will be eligible for JEE Advanced 2013 which will be the entry level exam for admission in IITs. The rank corresponding to cutoff score will be called as the cutoff rank.
This rank corresponding to the Cut off for JEE Main 2013 will be different for different category candidates and will be made available on the official website of exam as soon as the results are out. The candidates are advised to stay in constant touch with the official website to be updated about the latest news and announcements.
The Cutoff for JEE Main 2013 will also consider the candidates' marks of Class XII. These marks will be first normalized and then used for merit calculation. The relaxation for the candidates of reserved categories will also be considered for the generation of final merit list.
As the exam pattern and syllabus has been kept close to AIEEE the difference in JEE Main 2013 Cut off and last year’s cutoff marks vs rank will not be too high.
Every college and every course will have a different cutoff. To know more about JEE Main 2013 Cut off candidates can refer to admission brochure or go through the official website.
