With the introduction of two new exams for admission in IITs, NITs, IIITs and other Engineering Colleges from the year of 2013, the importance of Board Marks has also increased. Now the students need not only perform better at the entrance exam, but also score their best in the board exams.

For JEE Main 2013, the Board Exams will be considered while generating the final merit list and 40% weightage will be given to them. For admission in IITs, though, the candidates have to be in top 20 percentile window of their respective boards; i.e. the top 1.5 lakh rankers of JEE Main 2013 will be allowed to sit for JEE Advanced 2013 subject to the condition that they also lie in the top 20 percentile window of their board.

If we observe the 2nd year inter exam the pupils who got more than 900 marks out of 1000 only 40% pupils have a jeel to get IIT JEE rank. At the same time below 900 marks gainer have jeel to get IIT JEE rank but now they have fear to disqualify about the percentile.

please don't interlink the intermediate examination marks for selection into IIT JEE.it may cause to select the inefficiency candidates.

IIT JEE EXAM IS ONE THE BEST AND FAMOUS ENTRANCE EXAM IN THE WORLD TO SELECT THE EXTRA ORDINARILY STUDENT THROUGH OUT INDIAN. TILL 2012 THE SELECTION WAS TOTALLY BASED ON THE ENTRANCE EXAM. PREVIOUSLY IT HAS TWO EXAM ON IS PRELIMARY AND MAIN WITH DISRUPTIVELY. BUT IT CHANGED INTO SINGLE EXAM WITH OBJECTIVE . BUT THIS EXAM IT IS LINKED WITH BASIC INTERMEDIATE EXAM. IT IS NOT CORRECT METHOD BECAUSE IN SOME STATE THE INTERMEDIATE EXAM IS NOT CONDUCTING WITH TRANSPARENTLY. DUE TO THIS MANY TIME MAY COME UNDER INEFFICIENT CANDIDATE MAY SELECT FOR ADVANCE EXAM ONLY REASON TO GET MORE PERCENTAGE IN THE INTER EXAM. AND AT THE SAME TIME DUE TO ANY REASON A EFFICIENT CANDIDATE MAY NOT GET A GOOD PERCENTAGE IN THE INTER EXAM AND THEY WILL FORGO THE ADVANCE JEE EXAM. FOR THIS REASON THE COMMITTEE HAS TO THINK FOR THE SELECTION ONCE AGAIN,
