Industries minister Rajendra Pareek and senior officials of the state also attended the dinner on Thursday night. The state delegation, headed by Gehlot, is presently in London to promote Rajasthan as an investment-frie ndly state.
Sources said Mittal also spoke about investing in micro-financing and solar power plants in the state. “It was only the first round of talks between the state government and Mittal. As of now, he has only shown an interest and it would take some time before something concrete materialises,’’ said a senior government official.
