For admission into different Engineering Colleges in Uttarakhand affliated to Uttarakhand Technical University for the BTech and BArch courses counselling will be organised by Uttarakhand Technical University likely from 11th July till 31st July 2011. The Counselling will take place in two Phases , First Phase from 11th July to 18th July and Second Phase from 27 to 31st July . This time also  there will be online AIEEE counselling for admission into engineering colleges in Uttarakhand .

The Online Counseling  for  BTech first year course  for the session  2011-12 is being organized by State Counseling Board for admission into different Govt/Private Technical colleges in Uttarakhand affiliated to Uttarakhand Technical University  from  11th July till 31st July in 2 Phases on the basis of AIEEE 2011 rank and score . Those Candidates who appeared for the AIEEE 2011 exam and are the permanent resident of Uttarakhand and have given their 10+2 exam from any school situated  in Uttarakhand will be eligible to take benefit  of state quota seats .

The Interested Candidates will be able to download the challan form plus information brochure from the Uttarakhand Technical University website www.uktech.ac.in from 11th July . After that they can deposit into any SBI (State Bank of India) Branch all over India the Counselling  fees of Rs 6050 (Gen/OBC)  and Rs 3050 (SC/St/Handicap) in cash and get the Transaction ID and password from the Bank. The Candidates who have deposit their counseling fees can do their online registration and choose their desired college and branch on the counseling website www.ukcounseling.nic.in from anywhere through Internet. Apart from this the counseling board will be making online counseling centers in different states the candidates can go to these counselling centers and choose the desired college and branch.

1: For Participating in the counselling the candidates according to the schedule given above first have to download the information brochure and Bank Challan form from the website www.uktech.ac.in or www.ukcounseling.nic.in.

2: After downloading the challan form the candidate can deposit the counselling fees of  Rs 3050/- (SC/ST/Handicap) and Rs 6050 (Gen/OBC) in Cash at SBI Bank and get the Transaction ID from the bank.

3: Only the candidates who have deposited their counselling fees in SBI bank can log on to www.ukcounseling.nic.in and do their registration and choose their preferred stream and college.

4: After seat allotment the candidate can print the allotment letter which they have to  present with their documents like  Bank Challan, AIEEE 2010 admit Card and other Necessary Documents  and can deposit the admission fees in the college. At the time of admission if any candidate fail to present the necessary documents or if any discrepancy  found in the documents then allotment of that particular candidate will be rejected  plus any penalty may be imposed on that candidate.

5: According to Govt Order No – 348/XXIV(8)/10-26/10 Dated 19.01.2011 in every Govt or Private Engineering college of Uttarakhand the Tution Fee Waiver Scheme will be enforced according to which 5% of the total alloted seats in every college will given to Uttarakhand Permanent Resident Candidate whose Parents income is less than 2.50 Lacs in which tution fees for that particular course will be waived off.
