About Exam (DA IICT 2011):

Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology (DA IICT 2011) is considered to be amongst the best institutes in India for technical education. DA IICT 2011 was established in 2001 and got recognition of an autonomous university by Gujarat Legislature. In 2004 it was listed by UGC(University Grants Commission) as a private university in the list of Universities. The University is managed by Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group and thus provides the best of facilities, faculty, infrastructure and placement opportunities.

DA-IICT has an eco-friendly campus with lot of greenery surrounding it situated in Gandhinagar. Admission to DA IICT 2011 is based on AIEEE 2011 score and ranking but candidates have to apply separately for DA-IICT for its bachelor Engineering Courses. A large number of students apply for DA IICT 2011 to get admission in its engineering courses every year so getting admission is not easy.

Eligibility criteria for DAIICT:

Academic Eligibility: Candidates should

• be a pass (with 50% marks for general category and 40% marks for SC/ST category candidates) in the 12th standard or its equivalent with Mathematics. Physics and Chemistry/ Bio-technology Computer Science/ Biology.
• be born on or after 01 October 1986.
• appear in AIEEE 2011 examination being conducted by CBSE on O1 May 2011.

Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination in 2009 are also eligible to apply for consideration of provisional admission. All candidates who are offered provisional admission will be required to produce the proof of having passed the qualifying examination (10+2 or equivalent) to the Institute latest by 30 October 2009, failing which such provisional admission will stand cancelled. If a candidate is found ineligible at a later date, even after admission to DA IICT, his/her admission will be cancelled. All admissions will be subject to verification of facts from the original certificates/documents of the candidates. The decision of the concerned authorities of DA IICT regarding eligibility of any candidate shall be final.

A list of qualifying examinations is given below:

1. The +2 level examination in the 10+2 pattern of examination of any recognized Central/State Board of Secondary Education, including Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, and Council for Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi.
2. Intermediate Science or Two-year Pre-University Examination conducted by a recognized Board/University..
3. Final Examination of the two-year course of the Joint Services Wing of the National Defence Academy.
4. General Certificate Education (GCE) Examination (London/Cambridge/Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level.
5. High School Certificate Examination of Cambridge University.
6. Any Public School/Board/University Examination in India or in foreign countries recognized by the Association of Indian Universities as equivalent to 10+2 system.
7. H.S.C. Vocational Examination.
8. Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Open School with a minimum of five subjects.
9. Three or four-year diploma recognized by AICTE or a State Board of Technical Education.

Reservation of seats :

• For Gujarat students : 50% seats reserved ( Based on AIEEE 2011 score )
• For other states : 50% seats reserved ( Based on AIEEE 2011 score )

Expected Date Of Exam:

• AIEEE 2011 – 1st May 2011
