Please explain in brief the wavy curve method & also solve this ques.. f(x)=(x-2)²(1-x)(x-3)³(x-4)²/(x+1) ≤ 0 find the value of X.

WCM IS VERY easy to describe 1.arrange the nos. On the number Line as they come.2.consider only odd powers of the square bracketts and not the value of X against it note that you will consider only odd bracketts power on the numb line.3.start from the number which comes on extreme left or right.4.check the value of that eq. On that digit to RHL OR LHL MEANING TO A NO. Just smaller than the considere digit or bigger than ,check whether eq has positive or negative values.5.IF ITS POSITIVE PUT + ON THAT SIDE and - sign on the other side of concerned digit meaning against X value till the next concerned digit comes .6.now start drawing upper curves for the + ones and lower curves for the - ones.and then answer your question according to the ups and downs of the curves.
