wat i can understand from the question, theta1 and theta2 are the angle made along with the vertical line.
means ther will be repulsion btw like charges so they wil make some angle with vertical,in my view theta1 and theta2 might be this.
it can be solved easily.
θ1 & θ2 are angles made by the strings with the vertical....
the problem which i am facing in this problem is that due to different charges,the resp. masses will be affected....
and hence the line of action of force will nt be perpendicular to the vertical...
pls give me the solution.......
wat are you saying yaar it is written identical balls mean same mass.
and if masses are same then angle theta1=theta2 will be the answer let me know the correct answer .
as force acting on both charge will be of same magintude and identical balls mean same mass and configuration so angle made with verrtical will be same.
