About Exam (DA IICT 2012):
Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology (DA IICT 2012) is considered to be amongst the best institutes in India for technical education. DA IICT 2012was established in 2001 and got recognition of an autonomous university by Gujarat Legislature. In 2004 it was listed by UGC(University Grants Commission) as a private university in the list of Universities. The University is managed by Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group and thus provides the best of facilities, faculty, infrastructure and placement opportunities.
DA-IICT has an eco-friendly campus with lot of greenery surrounding it situated in Gandhinagar. Admission to DA IICT 2012 is based on AIEEE 2012 score and ranking but candidates have to apply separately for DA-IICT for its bachelor Engineering Courses. A large number of students apply for DA IICT 2012 to get admission in its engineering courses every year so getting admission is not easy.
DA IICT 2012: Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should be
- be a pass (with 50% marks for general category and 40% marks for SC/ST category candidates) in the 12th standard or its equivalent with Mathematics. Physics and Chemistry/ Bio-technology Computer Science/ Biology.
- be born on or after 01 October 1986.
- appear in AIEEE 2012 examination being conducted by CBSE in the month of April-May 2012.
A list of qualifying examinations is given below:
- The +2 level examination in the 10+2 pattern of examination of any recognized Central/State Board of Secondary Education, including Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, and Council for Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi.
- Intermediate Science or Two-year Pre-University Examination conducted by a recognized Board/University..
- Final Examination of the two-year course of the Joint Services Wing of the National Defence Academy.
- General Certificate Education (GCE) Examination (London/Cambridge/Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level.
- High School Certificate Examination of Cambridge University.
- Any Public School/Board/University Examination in India or in foreign countries recognized by the Association of Indian Universities as equivalent to 10+2 system.
- H.S.C. Vocational Examination.
- Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Open School with a minimum of five subjects.
- Three or four-year diploma recognized by AICTE or a State Board of Technical Education.
DA IICT 2012: Reservation of seats
- For Gujarat students : 50% seats reserved ( Based onAIEEE 2012 score )
- For other states : 50% seats reserved ( Based on AIEEE 2012 score )
