CUSAT CAT 2017 – Cochin University has released the last rank for the fifth round of CUSAT CAT 2017 counselling on June 28, 2017. Candidates who have been allotted seats have to make the requisite payment on or before July 01, 2017. The counselling and admission for candidates who have been allotted seats in the fourth and fifth round of CUSAT CAT 2017 seat allotment will be done on July 05. The admission process for candidates through CUSAT CAT is being carried out for only those candidates who have qualified the entrance exam held on April 30, 2017. The result of CUSAT CAT 2017 was declared by the University on May 18. Candidates are granted admission solely on the basis of their position in CUSAT CAT 2017 rank list provided they fulfill all the eligibility norms defined by the University for admission. Through CUSAT CAT, eligible candidates are being admitted into nearly 30 undergraduate engineering colleges offering approximately 10 B.Tech programmes. The registration for CUSAT CAT counselling 2017 started from May 19. Candidates who registered successfully for CUSAT CAT counselling and have filled in their choices are allotted seats as per the rank secured by them in the entrance exam. Cochin University is conducting the counselling of CUSAT CAT in five rounds. After each round of counselling and seat allotment, candidates who have been allotted a seat are required to report to their respective institute with all the necessary documents for verification within the given period of time.

The Answer Key of CUSAT CAT 2017 was published by the University on May 03. The answer key is vital for the students as it helps the candidates to cross check their marked answers with that of the answer keys. With the help of the official answer key, candidates can calculate their expected marks and analyse their performance.

CUSAT CAT cutoff is determined by various factors such as total number of qualified candidates, number of seats, reservation criteria, difficulty level of the question paper etc. Only the candidates who meet the cutoff set by various institutes are considered for the counselling and seat allotment process in various undergraduate engineering courses

The Seat Allotment of CUSAT CAT 2017 is done on the basis of the ranks secured by the candidates in CUSAT CAT 2017. To participate in the seat allotment process, candidates had to register and fill in the option of courses and institutes according to their preference. Candidates who are allotted seats have to submit the required documents for verification. Candidates who fail to produce their documents will not be allotted seats under any circumstances.

- The admit card of CUSAT CAT 2017 was available to download from April 18 to 30, 2017.
- Candidates were require logging in with their registration number and date of birth to download their admit card.
- Before downloading the admit card, candidates should have ensured that all the details mentioned on the admit card are correct.
- No other mode will be available to get access to the admit card.
- It is mandatory for candidates to have possession of their admit card on the examination day. Candidates without the admit card will not be allowed to appear in the examination.
- Candidates must keep the admit card safe and secure for future correspondence.
All the candidates who wish to appear in the examination must check the Eligibility Criteria of CUSAT CAT 2017 before applying for the same. For Instrumentation Technology
Candidates have to apply for CUSAT CAT 2017 in the online mode. It is a two stage process. Candidates can check the steps given below:
Registration: Candidates have to fill in their name, date of birth, email id, mobile number etc correctly to register and create an account. After the registration is successfully done, the User ID and password will be sent via email/SMS to the candidate.
Filling up of Application Form: Candidates have to enter all the required details in the form such as age, reservation category, OEC status, annual family income, eligibility qualification, test centre according to their preference, test subject etc. After entering all the details, they have to click on the “Next Button”
Uploading of Photo and Signature: At this stage, Candidates will require uploading scanned copies of their passport sized photograph and signature in the form. The files should be in JPG format. The images will be uploaded as per the specifications mentioned in the prospectus.
Payment of Fee
Candidates have to pay the fee in the online mode through Debit/Credit card or Net Banking. The fee structure is given below:
