CENTAC JET 2012: Minimum Academic Qualification
For Candidates should have passed the HSC (Academic) examination conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Examination of Tamil Nadu or any other equivalent examination thereto, with a minimum of 45% marks (a mere pass for OBC/ MBC/ SC / ST candidates) in aggregate, in the prescribed subjects, namely – Mathematics, Physics and any one of the following optional subjects: Chemistry/Bio-Technology/ Computer Science/ Biology (Botany & Zoology).
For Candidates belonging to UT of Pondicherry, and who have passed HSC (Vocational Stream in the area of Engineering & Technology) examination, conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary examination of Tamil Nadu or any other equivalent examination thereto with a minimum of 45% marks (a mere pass for OBC / MBC / SC / ST candidates) in aggregate, in the prescribed subjects, namely: Vocational subjects and a related subject (Mathematics / Physics / Chemistry), are also eligible for admission to the B.Tech. degree course.
