The Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Pune has announced the dates of the entrance examination, which is scheduled to be held on May 28, 2017, for the admission of the qualifiers in the B.Tech courses. However, the entrance examination for B.Tech II Undergraduate courses will be held on June 25, 2017. The candidates desire to avail admission into the Bhartiya Vidyapeeth University must appear and qualify the BVP CET 2017. Nevertheless, the conducting body has not published the official information brochure for the session 2017-18 yet, the details regarding the Centres of examination, Entrance Test Fee, Last Date for the submission of Application, Declaration of Result, Counselling and other details will be available in the information brochure.
In BVP CET 2017, the question paper will be of Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) type with a total number of 200 questions. 100 questions each for the subjects Physics and Chemistry, which should be completed in 03 hours of duration. The total number of marks for the exam will be 200. While calculating the marks of the candidates BVP CET 2017 Exam Pattern will be followed under which, one mark will be awarded for every correct answer. Whereas, no negative marking for the incorrect or unanswered responses.
The examination will be held in 11 major cities of the country which includes Pune, New Delhi, Navi Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Jaipur, Chandigarh, Vadodara, Indore, Lucknow, Varanasi. The candidates will have to choose the examination city with their code while filling the BVP CET 2017 Application Form. Candidates must fill the city as per their convenience.
The questions in the exam will consist of the subjects from Physics and Mathematics. Candidates must have a knowledge of the BVP CET 2017 Syllabus prescribed for the exam and be thorough with it. The university provides 10 undergraduate engineering programmes for the admission with a total intake of 750 candidates.
