Q1. What is the eligibility criteria for B.tech admission?

Ans. As per UGC/AICTE norms. Admission to the B.Tech Programmes will be on the basis of qualifying examination and entrance exam marks.

Ans. Automobile engineering; Bio informatics; Bio medical engineering; Civil engineering; Computer science and engineering; Computer software engineering; Electronic and communication engineering; Electronics and instrumentation engineering; Electronics and tele communication engineering; Electrical and electronics engineering; Information technology; Industrial bio technology; Leather technology; Mechanical engineering; Mechatronics engineering.

Q3. How can one obtain the application form?

Ans. Application can be obtained in person or by sending a demand draft for Rs 750/- drawn in favor of Bharath university, payable at Chennai, to the Dean admission with the request letter containing the full address of the applicant.

Q4. What is the last date for receipt of applications?

Ans. The last date for receipt of applications is first week of May, 2012

Q5. When will the entrance test be held?

Ans. Entrance examination will be held in Mid of May 2012.

Q6. Is it an All-India level exam or a State level exam?

Ans. It is an All-India level exam.

Q7. What are the centers for the entrance test?

Ans. The centers for the entrance test are Chennai, Bangalore, Kolkata, Delhi and Mumbai.

Q8. If 2 students get the same marks in the entrance exam then how will the selection be made?

Ans. The selection will be made on the basis of marks secured in the qualifying examination.

Q9. What will be the syllabus for the entrance exam?

Ans. The Entrance Examination for Undergraduate courses is based on the 10+2 syllabus followed by major 10+2 Boards.
