Bharath University Chennai, (BEEE 2012) has issued the notification for the Bharath University Engineering Entrance Examination 2012, popularly known as BEEE 2012. It is conducted for admission into the following programs offered in its constituent institute - Bharath Institute of Science and Technology (BIST), Chennai (BEEE 2012).
Admissions for Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses are done through All India Entrance Examination. The entrance examination for Undergraduate courses are conducted during April / May every year while for Postgraduate courses are conducted during May / June every year.
BEEE 2012 Important dates:
- Issue of application forms from 30th January, 2012
- Last date for receipt of applications is 1st May, 2012
- Entrance examination is on 15th May, 2012
BEEE 2012 Eligibility Criteria
As per AICTE / UGC norms.
Admission to the B.Tech Programs will be on the basis of qualifying examination and BEEE 2012 Entrance Exam marks.
BEEE 2012 Selection Procedure
The Entrance Examination for Undergraduate courses is based on the 10+2 syllabus followed by major 10+2 Boards. For Postgraduate courses, the syllabus for Entrance Examination is based on syllabus of Undergraduate courses.
(a) Selection will be made on the basis of marks secured by the candidates in the All India Common Entrance Examination. Intimation letter will be sent to the candidates provisionally selected for admission, in the order of merit.
(b) In case of candidates who secure the same marks in the Entrance Examination, selection will be made having regard to their academic performance in the qualifying Examination.
