BCECE 2017 Eligibility Criteria: The eligibility criteria of BCECE 2017 has been set by BCECEB for appearing in the entrance test. The BCECE 2017 is scheduled to be held on April 16 for Stage I exam and Stage 2 exam to be held on May 14, 2017. The candidates have to meet the eligibility requirements such as candidate’s age, nationality, educational qualification details, reservation etc. For admission in the institutes, all the documents given in the enclosures will be verified for eligibility in the counselling process. BCECE 2017 Eligibility Criteria
The following norms must be fulfilled by each and every candidate to take admission into various engineering institutes in the state of Bihar through BCECE 2017:
Nationality: To appear in the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination, candidates must be a citizen of India.
Age Limit: The Board has not defined any criteria in regard to the age of students to be eligible for he examination. Therefore, candidates of all ages can appear in the examination.
- Candidates must qualify Class XII or any equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects from any recognised Board.
- In the qualifying examination, candidates belonging to the unreserved category have to secure a minimum aggregate of 45% marks.
- Candidates belonging to the Scheduled Tribe (ST) or Scheduled Caste (SC) must secure at least 40% marks in the qualifying examination.
- Students appearing for Class XII Boards examination in the year 2017 are also eligible to apply for the examination. However, they have to secure the minimum marks mentioned above in the qualifying examination for admission into the Participating Institutes of BCECE 2017.
All the candidates need to be physically fit for admission. The authority will conduct medical check- ups for all those who have qualified for admission in the BCECE 2017 institutes. BCECEB will also charge for the medical check up.
Only those candidates who fulfil the above-mentioned requirement are eligible to apply for the examination. If any candidate is found to be ineligible at a later stage, he/she will not be allowed to take admission. The application fee will not be refunded either.
The Application Form of BCECE 2017 is available from February 14, 2017 to March 06, 2017. Candidates have to register online, fill up the application form pay the requisite amount in order to validate the form and submit it.
