BCECE 2017 CutoffBCECE 2017 Cutoff is the minimum qualifying marks set and will be declared by the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board along with the result. The authority will declare cutoff tentatively in the 2nd week of May 2016 in online mode. A candidate must secure the minimum qualifying marks to get selected for the next round of admission in B.Tech courses. All the candidates who will secure the marks required to qualify BCECE will be called for counselling and seat allotment process. The BCECEB conducts the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (BCECE) 2017 every year in two sessions for the admissions of candidates into undergraduate engineering colleges of Bihar. The first stage of examination will be held on April 16, 2017, whereas, the second stage is to be scheduled on May 14, 2017. The candidates who will qualify in BCECE 2017– stage I and II, will be called for the counselling process.

 

BCECE 2017 Cutoff

The candidates will have to secure the minimum qualifying marks in stage I in order to move further for stage II. The BCECE 2017 Cutoff for stage I will depend on the difficulty level of the exams, the average marks obtained and the total number of candidates appeared for the exam. Features of BCECE 2017 Cutoff

The candidates who will secure marks more than or equal to BCECE Cutoff 2017 will be called for the further admission process – counselling and seat allotment. If the candidates failed to secure the minimum qualifying marks will not be considered as qualified. The candidate who will secure the highest mark will secure the highest rank, whereas, the candidates with lowest marks will be allotted the lowest rank.

The candidates will be called for the counselling and seat allotment process on the basis of their position in the merit list. Some of the factors to decide the BCECE 2017 Cutoff will be: number of candidates appearing for exam, number of seats in the institute, reservation policy, difficulty level of examination, marking scheme and previous year trend of admission. All the factors mentioned will be considered to decide cutoff score by the board.

  • The closing rank will be decided on the basis of the total number of seats and total number of candidates appeared in BCECE 2017 Counselling
  • It is mandatory for the candidates to fill their preferences of colleges as per their merit rank in the engineering entrance examination.
