About Exam (Assam Jat 2012):
Assam Joint Admission Test (Assam Jat 2012) is conducted by the Director of Technical Education, Assam. It is conducted for the candidates who aspire to take admission into the various undergraduate courses in the Engineering College, medical college, regional dental college and ayurvedic college in the state of Assam and NIT (Assam state quota) are also selected through Assam Jat 2012. Every year the time and venue of the entrance is notified by the Director of Technical Education in Assam Gazette and other newspapers as well.
Reservation of seats :
- For Assam students :- 100% seats reserved ( Based on ASSAM JAT 2012 score )
- Other states students are not allowed to take admissions
Expected Date of Assam Jat 2012: First week of June 2012

Assam JAT 2012: Eligibility Criteria
Hr.Sec. Examination (12 years) from Assam Hr. Sec. Education Council or an equivalent examination with PCM, and English securing at least 50% marks in aggregate in PCM in one sitting are eligible.
