Q1. What is the eligibility criteria for students appearing in the engineering entrance?
Ans. Higher Secondary (HS) Examination (Class-12) from Assam Higher Secondary Education Council or its equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English with atleast 50% marks in aggregate - is the Eligibility to Seat in Assam JAT.

Q2. What is the reservation criteria for AssamJAT?
Ans. There is 100% reservation for Assam candidates, other state candidates are not allowed to sit for the exam.

Q3. Is the exam open to other states or open to only Assam state?
Ans. The exam is open only to the state of Assam.

Q4. When is the exam held?
Ans. JAT Test is usually held in May - June every year.

Q5. What is the test pattern of JAT?
Ans. JAT Test Question Pattern:
Mathematics - 100 Marks 3 hours
Physics - 100 Marks 3 hours
Chemistry - 100 Marks 3 hours
Biology - 100 Marks 3 hours

Q6. What is the tentative date for the sale of Jat forms?
Ans. The tentative date for sale of Application Forms is March mid/April

Q7. What is the tentative date for result?
Ans. The tentative date for result is June/July

Q8. What is the tentative date for admission?
Ans. The tentative date for admission is July/August

Q9. Is  it an All-India level exam or a State level exam?
Ans. It is a State level exam.
