AEEE 2017AEEE 2017 – The Amrita University has conducted AEEE 2017 in CBT and P&P mode. The Computer Based Test (CBT) was held from April 20 to 23, 2017, whereas, the Pen and Paper (P&P) exam was conducted on April 29, 2017. The result of AEEE was announced on May 05, 2017. The University has now released the counselling call letter from May 10, 2017, onwards. The counselling will start from June 9 to 17. Ony those candidates who have qualified the entrance test are eligible to participate in the counselling. Candidates will be called for counselling and admission process on the basis of ranks obtained in AEEE 2017. The AEEE rank list 2017 was announced by the university on May 05, 2017. AEEE 2017 Result

The Amrita University has announced the result of AEEE 2017 on May 05. The candidates can check it by clicking on the link here and entering the Registration Number, Date of Birth and Security Code in the AEEE 2017 result portal.

The result displays the score and the merit of the candidate. Along with the result of AEEE rank list is also available. The scores are calculated as per the marking scheme of the examination, whereas, the rank is calculated on the basis of the secured marks.


AEEE 2017 Counselling

The counselling of AEEE 2017 will start from June 09. The counselling will be held for the merit holders . In it, the seats will be allocated to them. For the counselling, the call letters have been published on May 10, 2017. In the letter, candidates are informed about the counselling date, venue and other details. The seat allocation will be done in multiple rounds the counselling.

AEEE 2017 Slot Booking

The slot booking was available for applicants applying through CBT (online) mode. However, the offline candidates were able to book their exam cities from the 40 exam centres. The candidates were given their first preferences but it was done on first come first serve basis for CBT applicants and also it was subject to availability of seats in that particular centre. No change/alteration in the test centre were allowed.

AEEE 2017 Eligibility Criteria

To receive admission in the above-mentioned courses, the candidates need to fulfil the eligibility criteria. The AEEE 2017 Eligibility Criteria to be satisfied is as mentioned below:

  • The candidate must have been born on or after 1 July 1996.
  • The candidate should have qualified the 10+2/equivalent examination.
  • In the qualifying exam, the candidates must have secure 60% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. Along with this, individually in these subjects, the candidates must have also secured at least 55% marks.
  • Candidates withholding three years Diploma in Engineering degree, as awarded by State Board of Technical Education, with 60% marks may also apply.

Note: Before filling the application form, the candidates must ensure the eligibility criteria of it. Such has to be done because once the application fee is paid it will not be refunded and the ineligible candidates will not receive admission under any circumstances.


AEEE 2017 Application Form

The application form of AEEE 2017 was available in both online and offline mode. Whichever medium candidates use to submit their application, they will be required to remit the application fee of Rs. 1000.

On the other hand, the OMR or offline AEEE Application Form 2017 can be attained either from the designated Post Offices, Dhanlaxmi Bank, Federal Bank or by posting a letter to the Amrit University, asking to post back the application form. AEEE 2017 Exam Pattern

The exam pattern of AEEE 2017 will be as below:

  • The examination will be held in online and offline mode.
  • The duration of the exam will be 2 hours 30 minutes.
  • The candidates will have to solve 100 multiple choice questions.
  • The questions will be asked from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics. Only the Mathematics section will carry 40 questions, rest will have 30 questions each.
  • 3 marks will be given for a correct answer and negative marking of 1 mark will be done for incorrect answers.

AEEE 2017 Syllabus

The syllabus of AEEE 2017 for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics section is very close to that of class 11th and 12th. Candidates must check it by accessing the link above, as it will provide a clear idea about the important and the not so important chapter.

 


AEEE 2017 Admit Card

The admit card was available online only to the candidates who were eligible to appear in the exam. The admit card was generated for only those candidates who submitted their application form and booked their slots. Candidates had to download AEEE admit card by entering Email ID/Application Number and Date of Birth. Hall Tickets was not sent by post.
