AEEE 2017AEEE 2017 –  The Amrita University will be conducting AEEE 2017 in CBT and P&P mode. The Computer Based Test (CBT) will be held from April 20 to 23, 2017, whereas, the Pen and Paper (P&P) exam is scheduled to be conducted on April 29, 2017. The pen and paper exam will only be held in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Kerala. However, the centres for the CBT AEEE will be established all over the nation. The application form for the exam has been issued by the University. The candidates can submit it either online or offline. The last date to fill and submit the printed OMR AEEE application form 2017 is April 06, whereas the candidates can register online for AEEE 2017 until April 08. It is vital to submit the form because only the registered candidates will be able to book test slot, download the admit card, and appear for the exam. The candidates appearing for CBT mode will be required to book AEEE 2017 slot for the entrance examination. AEEE 2017 slot booking will start from April 01, 2017. The admit card will be issued to the candidates only after the process of slot booking. The AEEE merit list 2017 will be announced by the university on May 05, 2017. On the basis of rank, the candidates will be called for the AEEE counselling and admission process. AEEE 2017 Eligibility Criteria

To receive admission in the above-mentioned courses, the candidates need to fulfil the eligibility criteria. The AEEE 2017 Eligibility Criteria to be satisfied is as mentioned below:

  • The candidate must have been born on or after 1 July 1996.
  • The candidate should have qualified the 10+2/equivalent examination.
  • In the qualifying exam, the candidates must have secure 60% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. Along with this, individually in these subjects, the candidates must have also secured at least 55% marks.
  • Candidates withholding three years Diploma in Engineering degree, as awarded by State Board of Technical Education, with 60% marks may also apply.

Note: Before filling the application form, the candidates must ensure the eligibility criteria of it. Such has to be done because once the application fee is paid it will not be refunded and the ineligible candidates will not receive admission under any circumstances.

AEEE 2017 Application Form

The application form of AEEE 2017 is available in both online and offline mode. Whichever medium candidates use to submit their application, they will be required to remit the application fee of Rs. 1000.

AEEE 2017 Exam Pattern

The exam pattern of AEEE 2017 will be as below:

  • The examination will be held in online and offline mode.
  • The duration of the exam will be 2 hours 30 minutes.
  • The candidates will have to solve 100 multiple choice questions.
  • The questions will be asked from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics. Only the Mathematics section will carry 40 questions, rest will have 30 questions each.
  • 3 marks will be given for a correct answer and negative marking of 1 mark will be done for incorrect answers.

AEEE 2017 Syllabus

The syllabus of AEEE 2017 for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics section is very close to that of class 11th and 12th. Candidates must check it by accessing the link above, as it will provide a clear idea about the important and the not so important chapter.

AEEE 2017 Slot Booking

The slot booking will be available for applicants applying through CBT (online) mode. However, the offline candidates can book their exam cities from the 40 exam centres. The candidates will be given their first preferences but it will be done on first come first serve basis for CBT applicants and also it will be subject to availability of seats in that particular centre. No change/alteration in the test centre will be allowed.

AEEE 2017 Admit Card

The admit card will be made available online only to the candidates who are eligible to appear in the exam. The candidates who have submitted their application form and book their slots will be generated the admit card. The Hall Ticket can be generated from the link provided on this page by entering the Email ID/Application Number of the Candidate and Date of Birth. Hall Tickets will not be sent by post.

AEEE 2017 Result

The Amrita University will announce the result of the engineering entrance examination on the official website. The candidates will be able to check it by clicking on the link here and entering the Registration Number and Date of Birth in the AEEE 2017 result portal.

The result will state the score and the merit of the candidate. The score will be determined as per the marking scheme of the examination, whereas, the merit will be calculated on the basis of the secured marks.

AEEE 2017 Counselling

The counselling of AEEE 2017 will be held for the merit holders. In it, the seats will be allocated to them. For the counselling, the call letters will be published on the official website after the announcement of the result. In the letter, candidates will be informed about the counselling date, venue and other details. The seat allocation will be done in multiple rounds the counselling.
