About Exam:
Engineering Agriculture and Medicine Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) is an entrance examination for admission in a number of professional courses like engineering, medical, pharmacy, biotechnology, veterinary etc in private/government colleges in Andhra Pradesh. EAMCET is conducted by the JawaharLal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher education (APSCHE).
For all the B.Tech/B.E. courses (except B.Tech (Biotechnology)), B.Pharma(MPC) & B.Sc (Commercial Agricultrure& Business Management (CA&BM), there is a common entrance exam consisting of questions from Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics. A large number of students from across the state of Andhra Pradesh appear for EAMCET every year and the competition is quite tough.
