Ans. The candidates must have passed their Higher Secondary or equivalent examination from a recognized university with Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, and Computer Science ( 10+2 , 50% )

Ans. The reservation criteria for seats is as follows
- Punjab Residents- 85 % seats ( Based on AIEEE 2011 score )
- Outside candidates-15% seats ( Based on AIEEE 2011 score)

Ans. AIEEE is used as the basis for admission.
Q4. When will the application forms be available?
Ans. The application forms will be available in the last week of May.
Q5. Which all universities will use AIEEE as the basis for admission?
Ans. The admissions in Punjab Engineering Colleges through AIEEE 2011 will be made for the following Universities / Institutes:
(i) Punjab Technical University's affiliated Engineering / Pharmacy Colleges / Institutions for Engineering & Technology / Pharmacy Courses.
(ii) Guru Nanak Dev University, Main Campus at Amritsar and its Regional Campus at Jalandhar and Gurdaspur for Engineering Courses.
(iii) Punjabi University, Main Campus at Patiala, its Regional Campus at Guru Ki Kashi, Talwandi Sabo and Rampura Phul (Phul-Mehraj) for Engineering Courses.
(iv) Punjab Agricultural University, College of Agricultural Engineering, Ludhiana for Engineering Courses
Q6. What is the cost of brochure?
Ans. The cost of brochure is Rs. 550/- at Counter and Rs. 600/- by post
Q7. The DD will be made in the favour of whom?
Ans.The DD will be made in favour of Registrar, PTU payable at Jalandhar.
