Q1. What is the eligibility criteria for the exam?

Ans. The candidates must be permanent residents of Jammu & Kashmir as defined in Section 6 of the Constitution of the J&K. Eligibility :- For General 50% in 10+2 (PCM) , SC/ST 40% in 10+2 (PCM).

Q2. What is the reservation criteria?

Ans. For Jammu & Kashmir students :- 100% seats reserved (Based on J&K CET 2011 score )

Q3. Is it a state level exam or an All-India exam?

Ans. It is a state level exam.

Q4. What is the common entrance date of examination?

Ans. Common Entrance Test Date of Examination (J&K BPEE CET 2011) is 1st week of July

Q5. How much is the form for?

Ans. The application form with the Information Brochure is made available in the specified

Branches of the Jammu & Kashmir Bank Ltd. against a fee of Rs. 750.00. In addition to

the above fee of Rs. 750, candidates shall have to pay such service charges as may be fixed by the Bank.

Q6. Is the fee refundable?

Ans. The entrance examination fee is non-refundable. If a candidate who applies for

sitting in the Entrance Test is later found ineligible, he/she cannot claim refund of the fee

paid by him/her.

Q7. How are application forms to be submitted?

Ans. Filled in application form, complete in all respects, can be submitted personally at

the offices of the Board of Professional Entrance Examinations, 9A Polo View,

Srinagar (Kashmir) or 4th Floor, South Block, Bahu Plaza, Jammu180012 against

receipt (Acknowledgment Card) during working hours on or before the last date

fixed for receipt of application forms.

ii) Application Form can also be sent by registered post/speed post in the name of

the Controller of Examinations, BPEE at Jammu and Srinagar on the address as

indicated above.

iii) Application form downloaded from the Website of the Board can be sent by

registered / speed post so as to reach the office of the Board Srinagar / Jammu

before or by the last date prescribed alongwith the photographs and Rs 750/=

(Rupees Seven Hundered and Fifty Only) in the form of demand draft in favour of

F.A/CAO, Board of Professional Entrance Examinations payable at RCC Srinagar

/ Jammu.

Q8. Where can the admit card be collected from?

Ans. Candidates shall have to collect admit card from the offices of the Board located at Srinagar and Jammu prior to the date of the entrance examination.

Q9. Is the paper objective type or subjective?

Ans. The question papers shall be objective type containing Multiple Choice

answers.

Q10. Is there any negative marking in the test?

Ans. There is no negative marking in the test
