Q1. What is the eligibility criteria?
Ans. For admission to first year of B.Tech/B.Tech(Ag.Engg.)/B.Pharma/BHMCT/BFAD candidate must have passed intermediate examination of U.P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board/University as given in Information Brochure of UPSEE - 2011. The candidate must have clearly passed with 40% marks for General & OBC and 35% for SC/ST candidates in aggregate. The candidate is essentially required to pass in each subject of the subject groups mentioned in the information brochure UPSEE-2011 without grace marks.
Q2. What is the criteria for reservation of seats?
Ans. The criteria for reservation of seats is as follows:
- For Uttar Pradesh students :- 80% seats filled on the basis of UPTU SEE 2011 / UPSEE 2011 score
- For Uttar Pradesh students :- 10% seats filled on the basis of AIEEE 2011 score
- For other states students :- 10% seats filled on the basis of AIEEE 2011 score
- Other states students are not eligible for UPTU SEE 2011 / UPSEE 2011
Q3. What is the date of test?
Ans. Date of UPTU 2011 Examination is 17th April 2011
Q4. Till what date are the application forms available?
Ans. The application forms are available till 28th April.
Q5. What is the last date for receipt of application forms?
Ans. The last date for receipt of application forms is 4th of March.
Q6. Is it a state level test or an All-India level test.
Ans. It is a state level test.
Q7. What is the tuition fees for B.Tech?
Ans. The tution fees in Govt. and Govt. aided colleges/institutes at present is Rs. 40,000/- per year for B.Tech./B.Arch., excluding Hostel fees which may be revised by the institute as per State Government orders.

Q9. What are the venues of the exam?
Ans. The venues of the exam are at major cities of U.P., Delhi and Roorkee
Q10. What is the cost of application brochure?
Ans. The cost of application brochure is Rs.1000.00 for General/OBC candidates &
Rs. 500.00 for SC/ST and female candidates of all categories.
Q11. Where are the application brochures available?
Ans. The Information Brochures containing OMR Application form will be available from all Head Post Offices and Mukhya Dak Ghars (MDGs) of U.P., Delhi and Dehradun. Candidates can also submit ON-LINE Application form by logging on to website www.mtu.ac.in and www.uptu.ac.in and complete the admission form as directed there in.
Q12. How should the application forms be sent?
Ans. The applications should be sent to the University office by Registered/Speed Post only.
Q13. Where are the application forms to be sent?
Ans. The application forms are to be sent to Registrar (UPSEE-2011), Mahamaya Technical University, C-22, Sector-62, Noida-201301, G.B. Nagar (U.P.)

does my diploma percentage calculate in final result. ?
i want to ask you that i will got passed in 2012 (as private student)
so i will be eligible for any college of UPTU or not.
i mean that i will not face any problem during admission time regarding that i have done 12th as private student
Domicile Certificate is normally valid for 12 months and is subject to review by the Revenue authorities.
I am permanent residence of UP, but my son is study in faridabad in CBSE school. I have a 10 year old Domocile & caste certificate from UP is it valid or not.
