ISAT 2011 Counseling status: Latest Updates

The second counselling of ISAT 2011 will be conducted on 9th July 2011 at ISRO Head Quarters, Bangalore

List of registered candidates who are eligible for the second counseling is published on IIST website on 29th June 2011.

Registered SC, OBC and PD candidates can have one more chance counseling (Admitted and forfeited candidates are excluded).

Counseling Timings:

On 9th July 2011:

0800 hrs - 0930 hrs:     Registration for All Candidates
0930 hrs - 1000 hrs:     OBC Certificate Verification
1000 hrs - 1400 hrs:     Counselling for All Candidates

Candidates are requested to download ISAT 2011 COUNSELLING ADMIT CARD using student login from IIST Website.

Counselling and Admission for ISAT 2011

• The seats in various courses of the B. Tech programmes are allotted strictly on the basis of the Rank lists generated for each category and the options exercised by the candidate at the time of Counselling.
• Each candidate who is selected for admission to a B. Tech programme in IIST shall execute a Surety Bond (on a Non-Judicial paper costing Rs. 100) in the prescribed format duly signed by the student, parent and surety at the time of admission.
• Candidates who qualify in ISAT-2011 will have to submit a physical fitness certificate from a registered medical practitioner in the prescribed format that will be made available at the time of Counselling. Candidates will be admitted only if they are physically fit for pursuing a course of study at IIST.
• Further details of Counselling and Admission process will be published in the IIST website at the appropriate time.
