The Mumbai University Institute of Chemical Technology, is India's premier chemical engineering and technology research institute. It is an institute dedicated to training and research in various branches of Chemical Engineering, Chemical Technology, and Pharmacy. Over the last 77 years it has acquired the status of being a premier and renowned institute of Chemical Technology in the country.
The ICT was founded in 1933 as a Bombay University Department of Chemical Technology (known worldwide as UDCT) by the explicit desire and money of industrialists and philanthropists, to cater to the requirements of the Chemical Industry. Thus, since its very inception, it has maintained strong links with the Chemical Industry. The ICT has maintained it's academic excellence over the past 77 years and is ranked amongst the best colleges in India.

Eligibility:
Bachelor of Chemical Engineering (B. Chemical Engineering)
Duration: 4 years.
Eligibility:1st division in Higher Secondary Examination
Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech)
Duration: 4 years.
Eligibility: Candidate should score 60% marks in physics, chemistry and mathematics in the Higher Secondary Examination from a recognized board.
Bachelors in Pharmaceutical Science:
Duration:4 years.
Eligibility: Candidate will have to secure 50% in higher secondary from a recognized board.
Reservation of seats :
- For Maharashtra students :- 70% seats reserved ( Based on MHT-CET 2011 score )
- For other states :- 30% seats reserved ( Based on AIEEE 2011 score )
- For NRIs / Person of Indian Origin / Gulf seats :- 15% seats reserved
Admission :
The admissions to undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) courses at the ICT are made on merit alone, which is decided on the basis of class and marks secured by the candidates at the qualifying examinations and the entrance tests
