About Exam
Karunya Entrance Examination (KEE 2011) is an entrance exam for admission to B.Tech course in Karunya University. Karunya University was founded in 1986 as Karunya Institute of Technology. In 2004 it became a deemed to be university and was subsequently renamed as Karunya University. It is basically a technological University offering bachelor and master engineering courses though later courses such as MBA and MCA were also started.

Karunya University is situated near Coimbatore in natural surroundings with beautiful mountains around it. Karunya University has a beautiful eco friendly residential campus with lots of greenery. Date of Exam: 30th April 2011 at 10:00 a.m in 60 Centers all over India.

1.The All India Karunya Entrance Examination-2011 (KEE-2011) for B.Tech. (12 branches) and M.Sc. Nanoscience and Technology (Integrated) will be conducted on30th April 2011 at 10:00 a.m in 60 Centers all over India.

2.The results of the All India Karunya Entrance Examination-2011 will be published in the Karunya Website (www.karunya.edu) on 7th May 2011.

3.The Karunya Single Window Counselling will be held at Karunya University, Coimbatore on 16th, 17th & 18th May 2011 and the seats will be filled based on the Karunya Entrance Examination Rank and the availability of seats

Eligibility:

B.Tech.

A pass in 10+2 or equivalent examination in First attempt with 60% marks aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. 60% in Maths is Compulsory. (Appearance in KEE-2011 is mandatory for Indian Nationals)

The candidates should not have completed 21 years of age as on 1st July 2011.

Cost of application Payment through DD / Cash Rs= 750/-

Application form and prospectus can be obtained from the Admissions Officer, Karunya University, Coimbatore - 641 114, Tamil Nadu, India by sending a crossed DD drawn in favour of 'THE REGISTRAR, KARUNYA UNIVERSITY' payable at COIMBATORE (or) can be obtained in person at Jesus Calls Centres and designated branches of Axis / TMB / Syndicate Bank / Central Bank of India / KVB / SBI.
