Jamia Milia Islamia conducts separate entrance examination for admission to its B.Tech course every year. Jamia Milia Islamia is a university with historical significance and was established even before independence of our country. It is a highly reputed university for higher education in a number of fields like Social Sciences, Literature, Arts, Applied Sciences, Management, Media, Engineering etc. Every year a large number of students appear in its entrance examination for B.Tech.
B. Tech is offered in Jamia Milia Islamia in five branches with each branch having 70 seats each. Admission to B.Tech is based on an entrance test and an interview. The weightage of entrance test is 170 marks and the weightage of interview is 30 marks. The candidates who clear the written test are only called for interview at a later stage.
Eligibility Criteria:
A candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with atleast 60% marks in Aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Those who are appearing for class 12th exams can also apply.
Also a candidate should be between the age of 17 years and 23 years
