About Exam (EAMCET 2011):
Engineering Agriculture and Medicine Common Entrance Test (EAMCET 2011) is an entrance examination for admission in a number of professional courses like engineering, medical, pharmacy, biotechnology, veterinary etc in private/government colleges in Andhra Pradesh. EAMCET 2011 is conducted by the JawaharLal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher education (APSCHE).
For all the B.Tech/B.E. courses (except B.Tech (Biotechnology)), B.Pharma(MPC) & B.Sc (Commercial Agricultrure& Business Management (CA&BM), there is a common entrance exam consisting of questions from Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics. A large number of students from across the state of Andhra Pradesh appear for EAMCET every year and the competition is quite tough.
Eligibility Criteria: 10+2 (PCM)
Reservation of seats :
- For Andhra Pradesh students :- 100% seats reserved ( Based on EMACET 2011 score )
- Note :- Other states students cannot apply for EMACET 2011

Colleges Under Exam:
The exam is conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) and the merit obtained in this exam is applicable for getting admission in various Government and private colleges in Andhra Pradesh
