The Karnataka Unaided Private Engineering Colleges Association in their endeavour to offer an effective, fair and objective testing procedure to determine merit of students wanting to seek admissions to the Under-Graduate Engineering Courses of the Member Institutions, have formed "Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka” COMEDK, has been assigned the task of organising a Common Entrance Test.
COMEDK UGET 2011 Eligibility
General Merit Candidates should have passed the qualifying examination which is 2nd PUC or 10+2 higher secondary or equivalent examination, recognized by State / Central Government. The last two years of study shall comprise of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) with English as a compulsory subject. As per the AICTE (All India Council of Technical Education) norms the candidates must have passed these subjects individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% of marks taken together in PCM, Further must secure not less than 50% marks in PCM in the Common Entrance Test (COMEDK UGET-2011).
SC, ST and OBC Candidates of Karnataka should have passed the qualifying examination which is 2nd PUC or 10+2 higher secondary or equivalent examination, recognized by State / Central Government. Application Forms:
application are to be filled online on our website:- www.comedk.org after obtaining a DD for Rs. 800/- for 3 subjects (PCM or PCB) and Rs.1000/- for all 4 subjects(PCMB) in favour of "COMEDK", payable at Bangalore (Non refundable fee) and posted to the below given COMEDK address along with the DD and the documents asked for on or before 19-04-2011.
