CENTAC JET 2011 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should have passed the HSC (Academic) examination conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Examination of Tamil Nadu or any other equivalent examination thereto, with a minimum of 45% marks (a mere pass for OBC/ MBC/ SC / ST candidates) in aggregate, in the prescribed subjects, namely – Mathematics, Physics and any one of the following optional subjects: Chemistry/Bio-Technology/ Computer Science/ Biology (Botany & Zoology).

Candidates belonging to UT of Puducherry, and who have passed HSC (Vocational Stream in the area of Engineering & Technology) examination, conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary examination of Tamil Nadu or any other equivalent examination thereto with a minimum of 45% marks (a mere pass for OBC / MBC / SC / ST candidates) in aggregate, in the prescribed subjects, namely: Vocational subjects and a related subject (Mathematics / Physics / Chemistry), are also eligible for admission to the B.Tech. degree course.
