DTU 2011: Counseling Updates
Result of Sixth Round has been declared on 23-08-2011. Date of reporting at DTU for Round 6 is 25-08-2011, THURSDAY 10 AM to 5 PM. Please get the token issued at DTU Security check point when you reach DTU for reporting.
Due to increase in OBC quota from existing 15 percent to 21 percent, two additional rounds of counselling will be done by DTU. Schedule for SIXTH and SEVENTH round of Counselling and new Seat Matrix is available on this website.

NOTE: - (i) Candidates are required to visit the admission website for updates.
(ii) The Delhi region candidates claiming the benefit of reservation under SC, ST and OBC categories are required to produce the caste certificate issued by the Govt of NCT of Delhi only. No other certificate will be accepted.

Newly allotted candidates are required to report at DTU according to the counselling schedule given on this web site. Selected candidates should bring Application form, Allotment letter generated by e-counselling system along with other documents,certificates and Original Bank Challan Form at the time of reporting at DTU.
Candidates who have taken admission in first,second or third round of counselling and their branch is upgraded in fourth round are NOT required to report at DTU. If they want to retain their current branch, they can submit branch freezing request on 08-08-2011 and 09-08-2011 ONLY.
During admission at DTU, You are required to deposit all ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS and CERTIFICATES along with one set of attested photocopies of documents and certificates.

Candidates who have taken admission in first or second round of counselling and their branch is upgraded in third round are NOT required to report at DTU. If they want to retain their current branch, they can submit branch freezing request on 25-07-2011 and 26-07-2011.

Branch Freezing Requests- Candidates who have been allotted seat in Third round of counselling and candidates who have taken admission in previous rounds are requested to submit branch freezing request to Chairman, B.Tech. Admissions-2011 on 25-07-2011 and 26-07-2011 if they are willing to freeze their allotted branch which is not their first choice. They have to submit copy of their final allotment letter along with application for freezing.
All Registered candidates who have not been allotted seat upto third round of counselling are required to report physically on 28th or 29th July 2011 at DTU for participating in next rounds of counselling. In case the candidate or his representative does not report physically on the above mentioned date then he would not be eligible for the next round of the counselling. Representives of candidates should come with proper authorization letter and should know the password of the candidate.
CHANGE IN REGION, CATEGORY, SUBCATEGORY - Candidates who have marked wrong Region,Category or subcategory during online registration process are required to submit a written request to Chairman, B.Tech. Admissions 2011 -between 6-7-2011 to 9-7-2011 5PM, to change Region, Category or Subcategory. Kindly bring your Application Form generated during registration. After required changes, they will be eligible for seat allotment in next round.
Registration for counseling & Choice filling has closed on 29th June, 2011.
All PH candidates who are registered are required to appear before the Medical Board at Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital S- Block, Mangolpuri, Delhi 110083 on 30.06.11 and 01.07.11
All CW candidates who are registered are required to appear before the Admission Committee, at Auditorium, DTU (scheduled to be announced later)
It is mandatory for PH and CW candidates to report on given date and time at the places given above otherwise they would not eligible for admission.
The first round will start from July 5, 2011.
July 5, 2011 : On this date, List of provisionally selected candidates other than Ph & CW will be displayed.
July 7, 2011: List of provisionally selected candidates for Ph & CW will be displayed

July 6, 2011 & July 7, 2011: Delhi Region- General category
July 8, 2011: Delhi Region- SC/ST/OBC/KM/SG
July 9, 2011: Outside Delhi Region- All categories
July 9, 2011: All Ph & CW (Delhi and outside Delhi)
